Benjamin the Loyal:
Ben is the most overtly loving of our cats but also the most ornery, he is a cat of
extremes, highly emotional and demanding.
If I am unwell he will lie on the bed beside me with a paw resting on my
arm and stay with me until I am better.
He will chase the other cats off in a proprietary huff if he feels they
are interfering with his doctoring duties.

As much as Ben adores me he is ultimately his papa’s
boy and the lovefest begins the moment Robert enters a room. Ben will literally throw himself on his back
presenting his tummy for stroking and will accept nothing but full attention
and praise. Any perfunctory pets will be
met with a disapproving nip, although he is quick to forgive these slip-ups.

I've noticed that often tuxie cats lean towards the male of the family. I wonder why that is...

Our tuxie female, Tipper seems to have that proprietary thing going on too. Being the most loving cat is a serious job!

You know if you have to be sick, there's nothing like a sweet kitty to help nurse you back to health! The most wonderful thing about cats is all their different personalities. So cute!

Ben....your secret is out you have the roar of a lion but the heart of a lamb. What a sweet boy to look after you mom when she has the sickies. Ultimately you are doing what your Papa would do if he were there and you know your Papa would approve!!

What a love! Ben, you get a gold star for being such a good doctor and caretaker. Our Tuxie boy is a devoted mamas boy, even though todays post has him hanging out with his daddy.

Ben sounds very much like Domino. I wonder if it's a tuxy thing. She is also very demanding of attention, although I must say she is more a Mommy's girl.

Let me tell you something, this is very confidential, really between you and me, ALL my cats are special to me, but...I have a small, very small, preference for tuxedos... I can't help it, I fall in love with every tuxie I meet... You are so special, so sweet, so handsome, so unique, so... ok, I will stop here, I also love black cats, grey cats, ginger cats,... but... tuxies are special!
