On the weekend we changed the clocks. Having lost an hour, Robert and I were still a little tired this morning when we woke up, however the boys seem to be coping quite well...
Jimmy
Kip
Ben
Casper
Archie
Yup, everything totally normal as far as they're concerned :-)
We loved their lovely pictures but we have to say Archie made our smiles get bigger. What a wonderfully contented expression. Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Hee hee! we reacted that way too except our most important times - meal times, and most notably breakfast, was terribly late! Our mom always whines about the spring forward change, mol!
MOL, our Mom is exhausted too. It takes her a week to get adjusted and in the mean time we have to tip toe around here. Great pictures of all of you just taking it easy. Take care.
OMC nothing bothers our sleep!! Double eyelids keep out the early morning light.
The spring forward played havoc with our G-father clock. It normally takes days to regulate it and lots of HBO sentences from Dad. All ending with "I wish they'd leave the time alone!!" Hugs Madi
Hi :) Only just found your blog via http://365catladies.blogspot.com/2010/10/cats-cats.html and love it :)
In the UK, we haven't changed our clocks yet but I have a sneaky feeling it might be this weekend; it usually coincides with Mother's Day which is this week. I hate it ... that's changing the clock, not Mother's Day!!
However, your cats have the right idea! Just sleep through it and everything will be fine eventually :)
Flossie and Minstrel say 'Thank You' for the compliments :) Yes, they are both lovely cats and I wouldn't be without them :)
I wanted to also say how moved I was when reading Max's life story. In fact .... I could only just about read it through brimming eyes. Thank God he found you and had chance to experience your love and care :)
The cats have taken the change well, but to dogs! I can't believe they woke up an hour early (which would be 2 hours early) from last week1 Nellie's Mom
Yep...losing an hour don't mean nothing to us cats!!
Hey, regarding our new scratcher...we got it from Fab.com when they offered it, but now we see it's available on Amazon too. It's made by Pet Fusion. It's a little pricey, but we love it and our mom says that as long as we use it, which we do, it's worth it.
We were a bit confused this morning...I mean why did mom get up so early?? I didn't even eat my food first thing because I was still so sleepy. I went back to eat it about 2 hours later!
Mom wasn't bothered by the time change for once. Since she retired, she doesn't have to worry about it for the first time in many years. She did have to get up early to get me to the vet, though. I reacted the same way as your cats. Mom got up. I stayed in bed.

LOL! Well, having slept very badly last night, I'd love to be doing the same thing today, instead of sitting at my office desk! :-P
Have a great week!

the critters in The Cottage
P.S. You all look delectably sweet in dreamland :)
Ours isn't for another couple of weeks, so we had better start napping more to save up for the hour we're going to lose!
Purrs,
The Chans
Fortunately for us it can be nap time any time!

We always joke here that the "stupid people" don't know what time it is!
Binga and Boodie adjusted so well to the time change, they knew to ask for dinner one hour earlier than normal!
Those are some of the most beautiful pictures we've seen. Don't your babies look so adorable.

So they only change for them is when they get the bed to themselves? Sounds about right!

We get our time change in 2 weeks so that means mum will be feeding us at wrong times.

so cute!
Isn't it amazing how cats aren't affected at all?
Hee, they're adorable! I especially love that picture of Jimmy.
