Wordy Wednesday

Hi kitties Casper here, do I look a little angry today?  Well truth be told I am miffed, can you see the big scratch on my nose?

Mum doesn't know who did this, but there was a ruckus downstairs the other night and we were all running around wild.  She had to come down twice in the wee hours of the morning to tell us to be quiet.

Here's the side view, looks even worse doesn't it?  What is my beautiful girlfriend Artemisia going to say when she sees my face looking like this :-(

We are all getting our claws trimmed today...

NOTE FROM MUM:  I left a brown paper shopping bag (with the handles cut off) on the living room floor for the boys to play with and forgot to lift it before we went to bed.  For some reason shopping bags always seem to make the boys go nuts as they each vie for a turn lying down in it.  Nobody was bothering with the bag at bedtime so I left it where it was.  At 4:00am when I went downstairs they had the full-on crazies (did I mention there was tissue paper too)!  I put the shopping bag and tissue, which was strewn everywhere, into the recycle bin but it took them at least an hour to settle down.

OH NO! Poor Casper!!!
What on earth could have set them off? They all seem to get along so well. Maybe some cat badness outdoors?
I hope you heal fast, Casper! Did Mom disinfect?
I don't think it will detract from your good looks. Brave Man Cats do get battle scars!

Why is it that cats love to go nuts at night. Poor Casper. That was not nice of whoever did that to you.
We are sending purrs so that will heal really fast for Artemisia. All of you have a fun day and stay away from bags. MOL.

Oh, Casper, I hope you don't end up with a place where your furs don't grow back!

There's just something about 4 am!

Poor Casper....we have that here sometimes too.

Ouch, we bet that stung, Casper! Annie used to get scratched up sometimes, courtesy of Nicki's claws (unfortunately). Obviously you all got a bit carried away having too much fun with the bag and tissue paper.

Artemisia probably will feel sorry for you and teleport over to give you kitty kisses--that will make you feel better!

Hey Casper, I hear Battle wounds make a man cat more distinguished looking and add to his mystery. I bet your girlfriend won't mind them a bit - might even make her more sympathetic - if you know what I mean.

Purrs,
Genghis

Poor Casper! That must have hurt!

Your boys are very silly to get so wild over a paper bag! It seems the wildcat in them only comes out at night, though.

When one of my kitties get scratched, I always put a dab of Polysporin on it, so it won't get infected.

I hope Casper heals quickly from this episode. I'm sure it won't make a difference to his girlfriend. It certainly doesn't make him any less handsome -- it rather gives him a certain panache.

Never had riots over bags and toys here, guess cause we gots so many of everything. Well, more than they can all handle. They get tired quick and spend the night trying to take the bed away from the Small One and Me.

Don't worry Casper, the ladycats like mancats with rugged good looks. We have been having the crazies at night too, but mum thinks it is because it is nearly full moon.
