Archie wants me to be sure and make a pumpkin that looks just like Tiri's. Will this do? I carved it for Halloween two years ago but could make it again for tonight :-)

Rio is a pumpkin also, she's in costume and ready to shell out at the door.
I have my witches hat and rub-on scary cat tattoo, so I guess I'm ready as well.
This is the ghoulish mask that I like Robert to wear but he hates it - LOL!
I find that constant doorbell ringing upsets the cats, so we like to sit on our front porch with Rio and greet the kids as they come up to the house. This way the cats stay calm and without a lot of door opening we know they are secure inside.

That's how we always used to do it, waiting outside for the kids. But now we're lucky if we get two kids, so we don't bother. Happy Halloween!
The humans here don't do the whole Halloween thing. They hide in the house with the porch light off. You might call them Halloween Scrooges (and you would be correct)!
So tell me, why do they insist on dressing us up anyhow? Ugh.

great costumes and pumpkins! (especiialy Rio :)) great idea for greating the trick n treaters. we just turn out the lights and watch movies in a back room, pretending we're not home, mol! :D we had rain tonight so that put a damper on things around our neighborhood.

I am a little bit late, but we went to eat in a restaurant with a couple of friends yesterday in the evening. I totally had forgot this and had bought lots of sweets for the children during lunchtime. I had suggested to put the sweets before our door, but my husband said no kid would dare and aproach the house, with two doggies barking like hell! Sigh... he's right...
