Naughty Jimmy has figured out that he can find cotton swabs, his favourite absolutely forbidden thing to play with, in the bathroom garbage. On the weekend I came home and found the entire bin overturned and contents on the floor.
During this video the can was empty but I got tired of walking downstairs with my rubbish so now it has a giant rock (which I brought home from a beach in Scotland) on top to keep the lid down!
PS - I just love how he comes over for a camera sniff in the middle of his break-in efforts as if he wasn't being a little scallywag at all...!!!!

Well, he'll probably find something else to get into. I know ours do ..... all 6 of them.

Jimmy, are you sure you can't knock that rock off the can? We're sure where there's a will there's a way. And failing that, we agree, there will be other things to get into! :-D
That is one thing we love to do and that is to get into things. That rock should do the trick. Kind of heavy to move that, isn't it Jimmy. Hope all of you have a great day.

Jimmy, Lewis in days of old would have been your willing accomplice! Lewis would let LP clean his ears and clip his nails... even bathe him as long as he was rewarded with a few Q-tips to play with afterwards!!

Oh Mr. Jim! Must be a naughty "gray kitty" thing...Clooney would root through bathroom garbage too if he could, now it must be kept in the cabinet. He loves "cotton candy" (Goro & Niko's term)aka q-tips but can't have them as he snaps them in two and tries to eat them...

We keep a brick in the bottom of our kitchen garbage can so it cannot be tipped on its side. Audrey has been the first one to go into it for things like corn cobs, sweet potato skins, etc. So we got a small one with a lid that those things go into and now only very benign stuff like paper towels, plastic wraps etc go in the other one. I hope we won't need a stone on top too!

We loves qtips too! Teri gets the ones with paper sticks now so we aren't chewing on plastic sticks! She still throws her dental floss in the toilet cuz she's afraid we'll get into the garbage and into that (she keeps the lids to the toilet closed, too--easy cuz theirs no men around, hahahmeow!
