Tuxie Tuesday
When it is very hot, as it was this past weekend, Ben likes to lie on the floor in the hall outside our bedroom. I have no idea why he finds this cooling because the upstairs is usually sweltering even with A/C, but he does and often I come across another cat or two in the hall with him.
Special thank you and purrs to Ann from Zoolatry for fixing my header with her creative touch when my "maximum pixels" in blogger got messed up. Ann, what would everyone do without you?!?

Well, it is always cooler on the floor, and maybe the hallway has the best ventilation?
Don't question Ben - he seems to know what he is doing when it comes to keeping cool!

Annie used to lie upstairs in the sun, on the carpet, on the hottest days of the summer. The mom thought she was nuts.

When I first saw the pictures, I thought Ben was dusting the woodwork! LOL!
Deiter lays at the top of the stairs where I'm sure a good breeze blows up from downstairs.
They seem to be able to find the cool spots.
Ben looks so relaxed laying in the hall - we hope he has sweet dreams.

Looks cool to us Ben. Maybe there is a tiny breeze down that hall. We know our dog likes to lie in the hall way too. Can't figure that out. Hope all of you have a one fun day and stay cool.

OMC those poses are too adorable! They say that "heat rises" so it would make sense that the floor would be cooler :)

To each his own I say - usually if its really hot, I lay in front of the cold air duct and let the cold air blow all over me.
