Mancat (and a boycat) Monday

The other day all four cats were on the bed snoozing and it was the first time Jimmy had joined the boys.  Jimmy doesn't usually stay still for long so I was very excited and wanted to get a picture.  Only the bedside table lamp was on and that was not enough light, I thought I better turn on the overhead.  I grabbed the remote for the light but unfortunately turned on the ceiling fan by mistake.  The noise woke them from their slumber and they were all fascinated.  Except of course for sweet deaf Casper, he felt the disturbance on the bed by didn't know which way to look.
That's not supposed to be on this time of year!
Benjamin the brave (not really but lets go with it) rushed in for a closer look.  Casper still hasn't figured out which way to look and Archie has already lost interest and may lick his paw instead of listening to Ben show off for little Jimmy.
Stand back Jimmy I'll take care of this
By this time I've turned off the fan and it has slowed.  Although Ben is still giving me his best mighty mancat pose, Jimmy has lost interest.  Casper however has figured out there is something going on behind him.
Gee thanks for telling me guys
Regardless of the fan interruption, it was lovely to see them all snoozing together :-)

It's great to see how Jimmy has become part of the family so quickly. It was lovely to see them all snuggly on the bed.

Oh how funny! Maybe the fan was enough to distract them long enough to get a few pictures of them together, at least? We know how hard it is to capture multiple kitties in one photo.

How brave (hee hee) of Ben to defend all and sundry from the Evil Fan. Jimmy is such a pipsqueak compared to his brothers...how nice to get them all in one frame for comparison.

Oh that is so great that all four were snoozing together! Our cats like to try and "get" the fan, which of course they can never do, but they still try!

That is so great they are all napping together. Our Mom gets really excited when we do that. Love everyone looking at the fan. When our ceiling fan goes on, we disappear. We are very afraid of it. Hope you have a wonderful week.

Good to see the boys all together and getting along!!

pee ess. Our mom puts the fans on almost all year long...she says that in the winter time, it helps push the hot air that rises down towards the floor. So we get to stare at the fans all the time!

My human installed a fan in the upstairs hallway at the old house, and we did NOT like it at first! I can't believe they are all so nonchalant about it, especially Jimmy, the new guy!

Isn't it great to capture a photo of them all together like that? It looks like little Jimmy is truly one of the gang, now.

What a lovely landscape of fur on your bed!

It's interesting that the fan seemed to bring out the PURRsonality of each of your kitties. Good old Ben sure is a curious one. He's got enough curiosity for all of them!

Greetings dear Catrina,

It warms the heart to see all of them on the bed relaxing and getting along. What interests dad is to see how one of the felines rising to the situation and investigate while the others do not give it a second thought.

Thank you for sharing.

Warmest regards this holiday season,
Miss Kitty and Egmont

It is good to see them all on the bed together. We have never seen an overhead fan, but we don't like the one that stands on the floor and blows on our fur.

Ha! I love the sequence of events, and that's so exciting that they were all on the bed together. Poor confused Casper. I love how he's looking all over trying to figure out what's going on.
