Friends at the Bridge

It was a very sad weekend around the Cat Blogosphere, we lost some cherished kitties.  This got me thinking that I would like to do a tribute page for my friends.  Blogger lets you have up to eight added pages (I think), so I created a tab for Our Friends at the Bridgeperhaps you would like to start one too?

I know there are many more kitties who have passed on than those I have included in my page, but I wanted to post remembrances of kitties I knew personally.  I began blogging in March but only really started meeting people after July 2nd when Huffle (Mawson) kindly introduced Cat's Cats on her blog.

I hope when you are visiting my blog, you can take the time to occasionally look at the "Our friends at the Bridge" tab to see the kitties who were special to me and the boys, chances are they were special to you too...

"I count myself in nothing else so happy
As in a soul rememb'ring my good friends."
- William Shakespeare

That's a fabulous idea! Our Mom still hasn't figured out how to add pages besides actually adding it on the Blogger widgets...she's a little slow.

We started a page a while ago, as well as a Purr Page, and it's a great idea! We think it might be 10 pages that you can add, not quite sure about that.

Mum thinks that is such a great idea to add a remembrance page - if only she could work out how to do it!!

That really is a wonderful idea, if I could only remember them all!

That is a great idea to have a remembrance page. Thanks for including Fuzzy. It is so nice to keep remembering them all. It makes it seem like they really aren't gone at all.

Cat this is such a sweet and wonderful idea. I started something similar and then it just got too crazy for me to keep up with - mine was for everyone who needed purrs but I think this rememberance idea is a good one and may try to do one once I have finally gotten caught up. It is so sad for me that so many of our friends have gone to the bridge.

That is a good idea. I think I may do something similar once the current hectic season passes. Like you, I would have kitties I "knew" on it.

That is a sweet idea, although it made me a little sad to go see all the faces on that page.

What a wonderful thing for you to do.
We love you idea and we will have to 'borrow' it and add it to our site. WE had wanted to do something, and we are glad to hear your suggestion. Thank you!

What a wonderful idea. I was wondering if the CB ever had a "remembering" moment for those we've lost like they do in the Academy Awards.

Thank you for putting Gatbsi on your "Our Friends at the Bridge". We are still saddened that she left us so soon. She was only 11.
