Gingersday with Archie

Archie the Bold: Our quirky Archie was so completely fearless when he was a kitten, it is how he got his name which means brave and genuine.  He is somewhat of a loner, but he faithfully sleeps at the end of our bed by my feet every night. His affection is exuberant and he headbutts us with the strength of a battering ram.

He loves to be stroked but can't seem to make up his mind who he wants to stroke him. He jumps back and forth between Robert and I over and over and over only settling for a few pets from each of us before he's off again, we joke that he has ADD.  Regardless of Archie's eccentricities, he is a very happy boy which in the long run is really what counts.

    I love Archie! I think us kitties that have red in our fir are just a little bit fiercer when it comes to headbutting.

    It's that quirkieness that makes cats so interesting. I've lived with cats for 40+ years and every day they surprise me with something new.
    Archie is a beautiful boy. That last picture says it all!

    Archie sounds a lot like Nicki, especially re: the battering-ram strength headbutts and the ADD. LOL.

    Oh that is so sweet! Our NIgel also has industrial strength olympic material headbutts, which he follows with the grinding of his nose into mom and dad.

    Being happy IS the most important thing and we can't hink of a more special and loving home for Archie to grow his happiness! The last picture of Archie is really lovely-he looks so handsome and healthy and loved!

    Archie is like me. I wake my mum with headbutts and I do them so hard she says it is a wonder she doesn't get whiplash. If my mum and dad are in the same room I always go from one to the other. If they are in different rooms, I always stay with mum.
