You really are a truely black cat! Even your whiskers!!! That's pretty neat, I think. My peep #2, who was born in Scotland, says that there, black cats are LUCKY. That's pretty neat too, I think. purrs
Very black indeed. I have a friend who has always had black cats, and has two now. The only reason I don't is that orange, black-and-white and white-and-tabby seemed to want to live with me first. But black cats are definitely beautiful animals - like Kip.
HAPPY BLACK CAT DAY TO YOU KIP. YOU ARE INDEED A MOST HANDSOME HOUSE PANTHER....and your mom is correct every single piece of furs on your booooody is gorgeous.
Mom told me many years ago my Uncle owned a house panther, Ursala. Once when my peeps went to visit my Uncle mom awoke in the middle of the night with Ursala sitting on the pillow above mom's head playing with mom's bangs....MOL Hugs Madi your BFFF
Oh, yes! Yes to black cats and the appreciation for them - definitely. I can attest to that fact - black cats (or, more specifically, my little lovable rogue, Phillo) is heaven-sent, and I love him so much.
I've given him extra special treats today, and even put his special kitty harness on for an extra long meander in our back yard. He's loves that harness, and is like a little puppy wanting to go for his 'walkies', nearly pleading with me each morning to put it around him so we can enjoy the morning air.
I love all cats, and have two other little angels besides Phillo, but Phillo is our first-ever black cat. He is wonderful, and I think the world of him - which, I'm sure he'd agree, is just as it should be, lol.
ps - I just finished reading the very wonderful (and funny, and touching) 'Paw Tracks in Moonlight,' by Denis O'Connor, about a very special black cat in his life named Toby Jug. I highly, highly recommend this wonderful, beautiful, sweet and affectionate tribute to a very special black cat in this wonderful man's life. You'll laugh...you'll cry...but I can assure you, you'll love the book, and you'll love Toby Jug (and his owner, who loved him so much)
Yup we messed up by not posting about black cats since we are such fans of them. We didn't know about it until too late. But Kip you sure are a good representative of a great black cat. You are sure looking good. Have a great week end.
