Wow, I made it :-)
Thankfully Casper has no interest in the banister and rarely jumps up there.
On the move
However Ben is an expert banister boy and regularly snoozes on it.
Pausing to savour his accomplishment
Archie is a daredevil of the first order and races at full speed from one end to the other giving me heart failure.
Jimmy at the deep end
And now Jimmy has joined their ranks.
Jimmy scenting the banister
At least Kip still has all fours on the ground!!!
I'm adorable non?
Good golly how could I scold him with a face like that?!?!
What fun for them, but definitely worrisome for you! But cats are pretty sure-footed.
ReplyDeleteRumblemum is saying she's glad we don't have stairs for this very reason.
ReplyDeleteWe're saying you are COOL!
We had a balance beam like that at our old house - it was fun! When Binga found out she got a treat for walking on it, she did it ALL the time!
ReplyDeleteJumping Catfish...now that is a 'true catwalk'!! Look at my agile mancats showing off their great balance.
ReplyDeleteThis reminded mom of my human uncle's house panther, Ursula, RIP. Uncle had a loft over his dining area. Ursula's favorite pass time was to sit on the rail during dinner. She never jumped to the table but it did make for some interesting dinner conversation. MOL
Hugs Madi your BFFF
Oh Jimmy do hang on there. You are giving your Mom gray hairs. Glad Kip is staying on the ground. These darn kitties just like to worry us. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteun beau jeu de chats!

You could use one of those photos for the balance beam competition in the Cat-O-Lympics!
ReplyDeleteYikes! That's a daring adventure.
ReplyDeleteThat is some very impressive balancing fur sure!
ReplyDeleteWow! We think you are a very talented acrocat. We don't walk on our bannisters, but we like to lean out through the bars and freak our mum out.
ReplyDeletestay safe boys..... mom says this is why when she had our grandpa put in the wall at the top of the stairs the top of it had to be several inches wide.....like cat walk wide. :)
ReplyDeleteThis will be perfect for the Cat O-lympics!
ReplyDeleteTake care Jimmi!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSince our huge scratch post thingy died after the grandchildren thought it was a brillliant castle, our many felines have been using the banisters and hand rail ....as you can imagine there is not a lot left ...dont you just love them lol
ReplyDeleteOh My Gosh! That kind of activity would definitely give LP heart failure...especailly if any of your boys are as clutzy as Levon... It doesn't appear that they are which is a relief! Still , Ben sleeping on the banister?! GAH!!
ReplyDeletethe critters in The Cottage xo

ReplyDeleteWe hope you guys will be entering the Balance Beam competition in the Cat-O-Lympics!
ReplyDeleteOui, Kip you are adorable! Oui Oui has taught Mica Moo to banister surf too. See what else Miss Oui walks on at our blog today. The first time she did it, the mom was amazed and laughed until she cried.
ReplyDeleteYes, you certainly are.
ReplyDeleteBut please be careful and don't scare your peeps!
