When Kip first came to us he had this one wacky white whisker. The odd thing about this whisker other than being white...it was about three times longer than his black whiskers (which are
tiny) and it stuck straight out!

weird whisker |
Then the other day I noticed his white whisker was gone. I asked him what happened to it, but he wasn't telling

ReplyDeleteWhat a weird whisker! I bet Kip is glad it is gone. It was probably a little annoying, sticking out like that.

ReplyDeleteThat sure WAS a rogue whisker! Maybe Mom will find it lying around one day.
ReplyDeleteHmm, a mystery!
ReplyDeleteWill it grow back the same way? How long does it take for whiskers to grow back anyway?
Our mom saves all the whiskers she finds..She found a plastic baggie on the weekend with quite a few and realized some of them would be Annie's. :-)
Oh noes...I think someone has been shaving w/o supervision!! I hope Kip didn't make Dad's razor dull!!

ReplyDeleteThere is black kitten at the shelter with 3 white whiskers that makes mom smile!!
That would have been a good unsolved mystery!!!
ReplyDeleteMaybe it was a baby whisker, kind of like baby teeth and he just lost it. That is too bad Kip, because it was a neat deal. Too bad it went away. Good to see you Kip. Take care.
ReplyDeleteHi Kip...my brofur Sable, who is also a house panther, has been known to have a white whisker on occasion. It is quite odd, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteKip you are a kitten of great mystery! We have never seen a white whisker on a black cat-very cool! We bet you have a secret cache where you hide your most treasured treasures and the white whisker is hidden there.... :)

That is extremely intriguing! What a secret you are keeping, what a secret indeed. We have never heard or seen anything like that before ever
ReplyDeleteMaybe someone started to pluck their grey hairs?
ReplyDeleteI think Kip gave it as a present to Casper, as white fits him better...
ReplyDeleteIn fact, I don't know, I just know I am always afraid to cut a whisker when I am mincing meat for my beloved cats and they are eating out of the plate in which I am busy...
That is an unusual whisker. We wonder where it went.
ReplyDeleteCats whiskers fall out all the time and are replaced by new ones. This one may come back in black. It sure made an interesting contrast, though.
