Thursday in a Hawaiian Garden

Hawaii was so lush and green and filled with tropical delights and exquisite flowers, I just had to do a garden post about it.

Mark Twain remembered Hawaiian flowers for decades after his visit.  In 1889 he wrote; "Other things leave me but it abides...in my nostrils still lives the breath of flowers that perished twenty years ago."

and my absolute favourite...plumeria also known as frangipani, my wedding lei was made from these highly fragrant flowers but in pink :-)
